Who is Jean-Philippe?
Newly established in Dudswell in the Haut-Saint-François Regional County Municipality to get closer to nature, Jean-Philippe is happy to offer his acupuncture services in the region. An Acupuncture graduate of the Collège de Rosemont in 2020, he worked in Montreal at Villeray's Quincaillerie Santé and had the chance to do his internship at the CHUM's pain clinic .
He has long been interested in everything related to health, ecology, plants, organic farming, healthy foods and nature. Acupuncture and its treatment methods naturally fit in with his lifestyle and the empathy he feels for others. His interpersonal skills are contagious and easily put people at ease in his presence.
A member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec (which has existed since 1995), Jean-Philippe will be happy to meet you and help you better resist stress, relieve your pain and improve your immune response to various pathologies. The benefits of acupuncture are vast, it helps reduce muscle tension, sleep disorders, anxiety, digestive and urinary problems, gynecological and perinatal issues, etc.
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture, using needles and other modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, TENS, improves blood and lymph circulation, which amplifies the body's ability to heal itself. In 2017, several studies concluded that the following conditions are most effective with acupuncture treatments: allergies, headaches, migraines, back pain, post-operative pain, nausea and vomiting (post-operative or chemotherapy), knee arthritis.
Treatment can also help relieve the effects of withdrawal for those quitting smoking and some addictions.
